Don's Mother (Sheila) and his three sisters started a singing group when they were asked to perform at a local style show. From that gig on they were constantly called back to perform. It wasn’t until the annual Christmas party for the local church's religion teachers that Sheila asked Don to join the group. He felt a little out of the ordinary since it was an all girl group and they wore some questionable colors for a young male in the 80’s. He only performed for a couple songs but that performance introduced Don to the world.
As the family got older the girls started to slowly fade out until it was Don and his Mother. But the family still does their usually come back reunions for the sake of remembering the good ole days.
Don continued to love the stage. He got involved with the schools Band and eventually the Jazz choir. Don started to play drums, guitar, piano and bass. Eventually Don started to become a technical guru with audio/visual and other technologies. He became the one and only member of the LeCenter High school AV club
From that point Don would use his technical knowledge to pursue a career in the audio technology/electronics field. He enrolled at Ridgewater College for Audio/visual technology. During his college years he started his DJ company called Traffic Jam DJ Services and he found his calling. He has continued to learn and grow throughout the last 10 years of his career and now strives to give his clients his best, so that they may see theirs.
Today Don lives in Cleveland with His dog Duncan and his BOSE L1 system. During winter months he likes to work on small remodeling projects for the home and attend local and national DJ conventions. He found that there is more to what He does than just music, and having continuing education is important no matter what career field you choose. he has grown to see how much he truly cares for his clients and to help them make their events memorable ones.
